This
site was started back in Feb 2002 by myself (Ian Scales) and Bill
Cundall,
after trawling the 'Net for information about the 'trade' we realised
there was no specific
site for ex, & existing, MT Drivers, so we decided to create one. We both met up while serving
a seven year stint at Church Fenton
where we had many a
memorable moment before Bill was demobbed in 1988, I left in 1986 for
Bruggen,
subsequently entering civvy street in 1990. We have remained good friends and
both settled in the Selby area, frequently trying to re-enact those beer
calls in the local. In Feb 2005 Bill decided to take a back seat from
the site and
retired to sunny Cyprus (I'm only jealous). If
you have any Photos or a source of MT related pictures past or
present send them in and we'll post them on the appropriate page along with your
comments, you can email pictures in GIF or JPEG format or use the snail mail address.
We
have decided to maintain the site manually, although this means more
work and submissions can take a few days before appearing 'live', we
feel it gives the site more of a human touch.
